Representatives from 320 Iranian communities and associations participated in this significant rally.
Iranians in Paris marched on the 46th anniversary of the fall of the Shah’s dictatorship, chanting for a democratic Iran. Representatives from 320 Iranian communities and associations across Europe, North America, and Australia attended the rally to support regime change in Iran.
Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), delivered a live speech to the gathering. She declared:
“With or without negotiations, with or without nuclear weapons, the fate of this regime is uprising and downfall.”
In his speech, Jean-François Legaret stated:
“The fall of the Assad regime was a turning point. It sends a clear message to the Iranian people that the regime is weak both inside the country and globally.”
He urged support for Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan as a roadmap toward democracy in Iran.

Thousands Rally in Paris Against the Mullahs’ Dictatorship
Former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt stated:
“Just as the Syrian people freed themselves from Bashar al-Assad, the Iranian people will also be freed from the mullahs.”
Several thousand protesters gathered in Paris on Saturday, February 8, calling on world leaders to increase pressure on the Iranian regime.
Iranian dissidents, who traveled from across Europe, were inspired by the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime in Syria, a long-time ally of the clerical dictatorship in Tehran. They urged Western governments to take a firmer stance against Tehran.
Maryam Rajavi stated that international leaders should stand with the Iranian people instead of appeasing the mullahs.
Riad al-Asaad, former leader of the Syrian rebels, who joined the gathering via video conference, stated:
“The Iranian regime will collapse just as the Syrian regime did, at a pace no one expected.”
Among the Western supporters of the Iranian opposition, former Belgian Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt declared:
“Just as the Syrian people were freed from Bashar al-Assad, the Iranian people will be freed from the mullahs. This will happen in 2025. The policy of appeasement must end—it has been a mistake for decades.”
