Iran – September 16, 2026: The Resistance Units affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) carried out 40 anti-regime operations across multiple cities on the fourth anniversary of the nationwide uprising of 2022.
The operations included 40 fiery messages from Tehran, Mashhad, Karaj, Ahvaz, Qom, Kermanshah, Sari, Arak, Yazd, Zanjan, Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Zahedan, Semnan, Birjand, Neyshabur, Sabzevar, Saveh, Babol, Bam, and Iranshahr, as the mullahs’ suppressive forces were placed on nationwide alert.
The Resistance Units also paid tribute to the 750 martyrs of the 2022 uprising, particularly the heroic and steadfast martyrs who were hanged by the mullahs’ regime for setting fire to symbols of the rule of the modern-day Zahhak (a personification of evil in Iranian mythology).
The reported operations carried out by the Resistance Units included:
- Mashhad: Explosion at two IRGC Basij centers
- Mashhad: Setting fire to a center of ignorance and crime with a Molotov cocktail
- Tehran: Setting fire to the signpost of the Ministry of Intelligence’s spying headquarters with a Molotov cocktail
- Tehran: Setting fire to the signpost of the IRGC Basij intelligence-gathering headquarters with a Molotov cocktail
- Bam: Setting fire to two anti-student Basij bases with Molotov cocktails
- Iranshahr: Setting fire to an IRGC Basij base with a Molotov cocktail
- Kermanshah: Setting fire to a center of ignorance and crime
- Neyshabur: Setting fire to a billboard displaying images of the tyrant Khomeini, Zahhak Khamenei, and butcher Mojtaba
- Tehran: Setting fire to a banner of Khomeini and Khamenei
- Tehran: Setting fire to a banner of Khamenei and butcher Mojtaba
- Karaj: Setting fire to a banner of Khamenei and Mojtaba Khamenei
