
Friday, September 18, 2026: The Resistance Units of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) in Zahedan commemorated the 2022 uprising by displaying banners and placards throughout the city.
The banners and placards featured messages from Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) and Mr. Massoud Rajavi, Leader of the Iranian Resistance, commemorating the 2022 uprising, highlighting the role of the Resistance Units, and emphasizing the need to continue the resistance against the mullahs’ regime. The rebellious youth also emphasized the slogan “No to Shah, No to Mullahs” and expressed their demand for freedom, peace, equality, and a democratic republic.
Messages from Mrs. Maryam Rajavi Commemorating the 2022 Uprising and Highlighting the Role of Women and Resistance Units
- “The 2022 uprising made the slogan ‘Death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Supreme Leader’ widespread and revealed the decisive role of the Mojahedin and militant women who paved the way for it.”
- “On the anniversary of the 2022 uprising, we honor the fighting spirit of the Mojahedin Resistance Units, which played the greatest role in the uprising.”
