British Parliamentary Committee Appeals to UK Secretary of State to Denounce Iran’s Regime Crackdown on Dissidents
In correspondence with the British Secretary of State, James Cleverly, the parliamentary group known as the British Committee for Iran Freedom (BCFIF) has directed its attention toward the Judiciary of Iran’s clerical regime. This comes in response to the regime’s announcement on July 29, 2023, regarding the indictment of 104 members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), a pro-democracy opposition group.

During this time, the ruling authority carried out a harrowing act: the execution of over 30,000 individuals imprisoned for their political beliefs. The majority of these victims were affiliated with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), including its members and supporters.
