
November 24, 2022: Thursday, November 24, marked the 70th day of nationwide protests against the Iranian regime, which began on September 16. Iran’s protests have expanded to 252 cities and all 31 provinces across the country.

According to reports gathered by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), the regime has so far killed 660 civilians and arrested 30,000 others. The PMOI/MEK has published the names of 516 killed protesters.

November 24, 2022: Protests in Tehran, Zahedan, Sanandaj, Mashhad, Mohr, Hamedan, Karaj, Kermanshah, Saqqez, Khorramabad, Jakigor, Oshnavieh, Isfahan, Sardasht, Kamyaran, Urmia, Qorveh, Ravansar, Divandarreh, Dehgolan, Javanrud, Bukan, and Bushehr.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the president-elect of the NCRI, about the formation of an International fact-finding mission by the UN Human Rights Council to probe Iran’s suppression of protests since September 2022, said: “We welcome the formation of an International fact-finding mission. It is very necessary to visit the open and secret prisons in #Iran, particularly the prisons of the Ministry of Intelligence and the State Security Force.”

Mrs. Rajavi also said: “The Iranian people and Resistance have been stressing this need for 4 decades, but the policy of appeasement prevented it in favor of the inhuman regime. The fact-finding mission must also undertake the massacre of political prisoners in Iran.”
