MEK Resistance Units in Iran Mark Anniversary of Massoud Rajavi’s Release From Shah's Prisons

January 20, 2023 – January 20, marks the anniversary of Massoud Rajavi’s freedom from Shah’s prison in 1979. PMOI/MEK supporters mark this day by installing his posters in public places across Iran. MEK Resistance Units in Iran also write his quotes to spread his message in Iran.

Massoud Rajavi was the leader of the main opposition to the mullahs’ rule after the 1979 revolution. He opposed the mullahs for violating the people’s basic rights and freedom. He then formed a coalition of opposition groups and personalities named the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

Massoud Rajavi’s efforts turned him to number-one enemy to the mullahs. PMOI/MEK supporters bear the heaviest charges in Iran’s prison.

Every year, supporters of Mojahedin -e- Khalgh Iran mark his freedom’s anniversary to value his tireless efforts against the mullahs’ dictatorship in Iran.
