Toronto, Canada—January 21, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally in solidarity with the Iranian people’s uprising.
They also commemorated January 20, 1979. On this day, the people of Iran released the last group of political prisoners from the prisons of Shah’s dictatorship. At the head of these political prisoners was the Iranian opposition leader Mr. Massoud Rajavi.
In their demonstration in Toronto, Iranians demanded the overthrow of the mullahs’ regime with slogans, including: “No talk to the Mullahs, No deal with the Mullahs”, “Democracy Yes, Mullahs No! They are terrorist, they must go”, and “Shaking hand with mullahs, sharing crime with mullahs!”
They called to the Canadian Government to adopt a firm policy against the dictatorship of the mullahs.
Freedom-loving Iranians in Toronto also honored the memory of Mahsa Amini and the martyrs of the Iran Revolution.
It is worth to mention that Saturday, January 21, 2023, marked the 128th day of the continuous anti-regime protests across Iran.
