Iranian regime under intensifying pressure

Iranian Regime

Iran Regime’s Weaknesses Need to Be Fully Exploited

The Iranian regime is in a very precarious position. It is being pressured from numerous angles and the uncertainty about the future, especially in terms of US sanctions, means that it is on shaky ground.

The banking situation in Iran is a shambles and most banks do not adhere to international standards. There is no transparency and Rouhani has been unable to make a difference to the issues, especially the increasingly common problem of failed credit institutions that affects millions of families in the country.

The people of Iran have been consistently protesting over the past few months because of the problems provoked by the corrupt regime that is mismanaging the country’s resources. They are supported by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), the main opposition to the regime, which has been advising the international community to take precise and encompassing measures to actually make a difference. On 30th June it will hold its annual gathering in Paris where government officials, politicians, dignitaries and human rights activists will discuss ways in which the situation can be improved.

The picture shows men of different ethnicities celebrating around a trophy.

Social media users in Iran criticised what they saw as implied gender discrimination by excluding women from the picture.

India Will Be Blocked From Using European Route for Iran Regime’s Oil Payments

As US sanctions against of Iran take effect in November, India will not be able to use European banks to make payments for the crude oil it buys from the Iran, senior officials said today.

When US President pulled out of the landmark Iran nuclear deal last month, he said sanctions will be re-imposed on the Iranian Regime within 180 days.

At that same time, the EU also placed restrictions on insurance of Iranian oil and the ships that carried it. Iran supplied oil in its own tankers to resolve the problem.

Dhow owners in southern Iran facing extreme difficulties

It has been quite some time that dhow owners in Iran’s southern provinces are facing extreme difficulties and barely making ends meet. With a new bill adopted by the cabinet of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, “complete death” is awaiting these innocent people.

“Executing the government’s adopted bill will mean the complete death for the people of south seas,” according to the Iranian regime’s ILNA news agency. The entire story circles around an old dilemma that dhow owners in the country’s south and other people across this area have been suffering from.“The lives of 80 percent of the population living near Daylam and Ganaveh ports are linked significantly to these products.

Missiles fired from Yemen into Saudi Arabia were built in Iran, according to United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
