Iran public and defiant youths celebrate Soleimani’s death
The Iranian public, especially the defiant youths, have welcomed the death of notorious terrorist Qassem Soleimani, commander of the notorious Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC)’s Qods Force, despite what the Iranian regime is trying to project.
Their reactions can be seen in the defiant anti-regime activities that are being undertaken by the Iranian people, especially the youth.
In the early hours of Sunday, the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) reported that the defiant youth had set fire to banners bearing pictures of the regime’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. They also set ablaze a number of bases belonging to the paramilitary Bassij and the so-called religious seminaries in Tehran and other cities, including Karaj, Khorramabad, and Behbahan.
Over Friday and Saturday, members of the Iranian Resistance Units and defiant youths, put up banners, containing the pictures and messages of Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the NCRI, and Massoud Rajavi, the Leader of the Iranian Resistance, in Tehran and other cities, including Mashhad, Tabriz, Karaj, Hamedan, and Khorassan Razavi Province.
These banners posted by the defiant youths read:
- “Soleimani’s elimination expedites regime’s overthrow”
- “The Iranian people and Resistance have pledged to overthrow this regime”
- “Rest assured that our nation will triumph”
- “Iran will be free through the uprising and Resistance units”
- “Bassij and IRGC centres must be demolished”
- “The rebellion continues”
- “Flowers have blossomed from the blood of the martyrs”
Soleimani was killed in Iraq on Friday, alongside several other Iran-linked terrorists, as part of a US drone strike. The US was retaliating for an attack on their embassy in Baghdad that killed an American contractor and injured several US service personnel.
The Iranian regime has since declared a period of national mourning and sent paid protesters into the streets in Iran and Iraq to scream “death to America”, but we should not be fooled because that is not the real Iran. The vast majority of Iranians and residents in the countries that are most affiliated with Iran, i.e. Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon, are grateful that one cog in the regime’s terrorist machine has been knocked out. The activities of the defiant youths inside the country confirms the Iranian people’s happiness over Soleimani’s death.
They recognise this as, potentially, the start of the end of the regime. After all, the regime has now vowed to pull out of the 2015 nuclear pact, which means that it will lose the support of European actors. However, the people do not want a war. Instead, they wish for the West to express support for the Resistance and allow Iran to liberate itself.
