September 9, 2023—Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held gatherings, and celebrated the anniversary of the foundation of the PMOI/MEK in Rome, Oslo, Stockholm, and Gothenburg.
On September 12th, members of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords within the UK Parliament gathered alongside representatives from the Iranian Resistance. The purpose of their meeting was to mark the first anniversary of the 2022 uprising and reassert their commitment to supporting the Iranian people’s pursuit of freedom and democracy.

London—September 9, 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a protest rally opposite the Prime Minister’s Office at 10 Downing Street, urging the UK and the UN to save the lives of Iranian political prisoners, especially those who are on a hunger strike in Ghezel Hesar prison.
On the occasion of the 58th anniversary of its founding, the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) witnessed the nationwide celebration of this milestone by its dedicated network of activists known as the Resistance Units, operating within Iran.
Copenhagen and Aarhus—September 7-9 2023: Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held rallies, and celebrated the anniversary of the foundation of the PMOI/MEK. They also supported the Iran Revolution against the religious dictatorship ruling Iran.
On September 7, 2023, a significant conference titled “Iran Nationwide Uprising, One Year After” convened, showcasing prominent international dignitaries in attendance. Among the notable participants were Congressman Randy Weber of the United States House of Representatives, Senator Gerry Horkan from Ireland, and Mr. Jim Higgins, the former Minister and Vice President of the Irish Delegation to the European Parliament.
During a press conference convened on Thursday, September 6, at the United Kingdom Parliament, distinguished speakers, including Members of Parliament, convened to deliberate on the actions of the Iranian regime and the pressing imperative to classify the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.
