Paris, France – April 23, 2026 – A book stall and photo exhibition by the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) was held in Paris, honoring PMOI political prisoners who were recently executed by the Iranian regime, as well as the fallen protesters of the January 2026 uprising and other nationwide protests.

The event emphasized the Iranian people’s demand for a democratic republic led by the Iranian Resistance as a path toward peace and freedom.

Rejecting Dictatorship, Seeking Solidarity

Organizers called on the French public and the international community to recognize the suffering of the Iranian people and their firm rejection of all forms of dictatorship—whether monarchical or theocratic. Through powerful images and personal testimonies, the exhibition showcased the courage and sacrifices of Iranian protesters during the Iran protests 2026, while strongly condemning ongoing human rights violations, including the execution of political prisoners.

The event urged the international community to stand with the Iranian people rather than support any authoritarian alternative. Organizers emphasized the urgent need to establish a free and democratic republic in Iran, reaffirming their commitment to the ongoing struggle for political rights, civil liberties, and accountability for human rights abuses.

The exhibition served both as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the Iran protests 2026 and as a renewed call for global solidarity with Iran’s movement for lasting democratic change.
