Iran’s new surge of Terror Plots in Europe
The Iranian regime is plotting attacks outside of its own borders and will go the distance of carrying out these measures “beyond the seas,” according to a top military figure. Tehran will seek to conduct attacks on those the mullahs consider their “enemies,” said former Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) chief Yahya Rahim Safavi.
Such statements are further highlighting the Iranian regime’s clandestine operations inside mainland United States and throughout Europe, especially after two operatives in Albania and a number of others, including a Vienna-based diplomat, in Germany, Belgium and France have been arrested on terrorism-related charges.
In this regard, September 12, 2018 -At a press conference in London today, the UK representative office of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) exposed details regarding the involvement of senior regime officials and institutions in terrorist plots on European territory, the chain of command in these terrorist plots and the terror decision-making process.
According to the information obtained by the sources of the People’s Mojahedin Organisation of Iran (PMOI/MEK) inside the country, the decision regarding the terror plots in Europe have been made at the highest level in the Supreme National Security Council, headed by President Hassan Rouhani, with approval from Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
Ms. Dowlat Nowruzi, the UK representative of the NCRI, laid out details of the Iranian regime’s operations abroad and the role of its embassies in planning and coordinating terror plots against dissidents in European countries. The information compiled by the Iranian opposition also shows that, contrary to what some analysts have tried to portray, the foreign terrorist activities of the Iranian regime are not rogue operations and are being orchestrated at the highest levels of power in Tehran.

“No doubt we are facing a new wave of terrorist activities by the mullahs’ regime outside Iran,” Nowruzi said in her remarks. The NCRI representative also stressed that according to specific information from within the regime, the decision to carry out the operations, including the attempted bombing of the Paris gathering, was taken in January 2018 in the Supreme National Security Council, headed by Hassan Rouhani.
High profile authorities of the Iranian regime were involved in the decision making process, including the regime’s foreign and intelligence ministers, the Supreme Leader’s closest advisors, the commander of the IRGC and Qassem Suleimani, the head of the regime’s terrorist Quds Force.
“Further discussion on the extent of this operation took place in the months of January and February in the Supreme National Security Council, and the plan was taken by Hassan Rouhani to Khamenei for final approval,” Nowruzi said.
MPs and Peers from both Houses of the UK Parliament also attended the conference and warned about the surge in the Iranian regime’s terrorists activities in Europe. They condemned the silence vis-a-vis Tehran’s malign activities and warned about dire consequences of such an attitude by the West in particular.
.@DavidJonesMP: The regime’s targeting of dissidents has spread to Europe and United States while its internal crackdown has been intensified.
The reality proves that there are not moderate and hardline factions in Iran within the regime. It is in fact one homogeneous regime. pic.twitter.com/IWmZrxJPGF— NCRI-FAC (@iran_policy) September 12, 2018
.@DavidJonesMP: It is important that #German authorities should resist any efforts of the part of the Iranian regime to frustrate the extradition & they should return him to #Belgium where he can stand trial.#ProsecuteAssadi @welt @BMJV_Bund @BfV_Bund @BMI_Bund @theJusticeDept pic.twitter.com/Rno4vXzorw

Lord Maginnis : Western government for far too long have ignored the facts and consider Iran a quasi-democracy. Nothing has changed for the Iranian people despite Mr. Rouhani’s Presidency#ProsecuteAssadi #ExpelIranDiplomatTerrorists pic.twitter.com/gRi6Hi9pjw
